For every class,a counsellor is appointed to take care of the students,watch their academic progress and take remedial measures in case of slow learners.

The parent_meetings are held 2 to 3 times in an year to discuss the progress and problems of the students.

All the students of first year undergraduate classes are provided with two months compulsory training in computer basics.

All the students of second year are provided six weeks training in communication skills in english, free of cost.

The students of III yr. of all the faculties are provided with training in personality development. All the P.G. students are required to study a subject on womens studies, in addition to the regular curriculum from the academic year 2004-2005.

There are two units of N.S.S. in the college, functioning very actively.These units are well known for their work in the Osmania University region and the members of these units were chosen to represent O.U. at the National level seminars and work shops.

There is a career guidance cell in the college, to guide the students regarding higher education and placements. Ten students got placements through this cell during the academic year 2004-2005.

A training centre for livelihood skills is established in the college in collaboration with the A.P. State Resource Centre.The training is imparted in income generating skills during vacation.

A work shop is established in the college for screen printing and lamination, wherein the students that have undergone the training are provided an opportunity to work on part time basis after the college hours.This is implemented as "earn while you learn" programme.

A training centre of setwin is established in the campus for the benefit of the students. 3 months Beautician Certificate Course and 6 months certificate course in fashion designing are offered by this centre. The training will be given after the college hours and 20% concession in the fee also is offered to the students.

There is a fine arts wing in the college with courses in classical music,light music and instrumental music.All these courses are allifiliated to Telugu University and theses classes are held from 3-30 p.m onwards.

A peronal counselling centre is proposed to be started for the benefit of the students from the academic year 2004-2005.
