Mrs. Sheila David, Principal, is awarded Gyan
Bharti Shiksha Award, for Outstanding achievements
in the field of Education on 20 May’07 at Ahmedabad
by Global Management Council, an ISO 9001 -2000
Certified Institute. Eminent Personalities attended
the function. |

The Institution got Rajiv
Gandhi Merit Award as the Best Institution. The
Principal received the award on behalf of the
college Dr.(Mrs) GLK. Durga also received the award
as the Best NSS Programme Officer for the NSS unit
of the college. |
Dr.GLK. Durga, Coordinator - Placement Cell and
Head, Department of Commerce
received an IPA Best Commerce Faculty Award on 3
Sept ’07 at 6.pm at Basheerbagh, Hyderabad. Prof.
K.C.Reddy – Chairman, APSCHE was the Chief Guest for
the function. |

Gandhi Vidya Vikas Award 2006 -- Rajiv Gandhi
Merit Award 2006.
Every year this award is given to the Best Institution
/ Best Student / Best Social Worker. This award
sponsored by Mithra Associate Founder Mr.A.Krishna.
He is the Chairman SC/ST Cell, APCC member.
This award is being given since 15 years . Our
Principal and Chairperson of NSS Unit Smt.Sheila
David received the Best Institution Award and
Dr.C.P.Vardhani received the Best Social Worker
Award and Ms.Sravanthi of B.A III Yr and MS.VaraLakshmi
of B.Sc III Yr the NSS Volunteers received Best
Student Award on July 15th 2006 . A function
was organized at Gandhi Bhavan. Hon. Union Minister
for Highways and Shipping Sri K H Muneyappa
Honored the Principal Mrs. Sheila David and
NSS Programme Officer Dr.C.P.Vardhani with Memento,
Shawl and a Medal. About 10 students of our
college received free books on the same day.

| Felicitation
to the Principal by Lions Club The
president & Fine members of Lions CLUB of
Lalapet Dist.324 C-5 , Region V Zone II felicitated
the Principal, Arts & Science College for
Women , Andhra Mahila Sabha, on the occasion of
5th Installation nite on Sunday , 16th July on
this occasion the Lions Club donated a Cheque
of Rs.10,000 towards conducting a seminar / workshop
/ purchase of material.
On behalf of the college Mrs. Kalyan Sarada, Academic
Coordinator thanked the Lions Club for the donation. |
